Why I created Crush It with Chris
At 19, I failed Engineering Statics. Twice. My professor told the class that failing his exam meant we were not cut out for this, and I came close to believing him, until my father told me I did not get to quit something I had started. I took the course a third time and earned an A. Since then I have helped more engineering students pass Statics than I can count.
As someone who once questioned whether I was smart enough to finish an Engineering degree, I know the defeat behind the words “I can’t do this,” and how much the right mentor can change everything.
For over 5 years I tutored young men whose mothers and grandmothers hoped I could turn things around. But I only provided tutoring. What they really needed was someone talking in their ear outside of the hour or two we met each week, building the fundamentals of success: preparing early, showing up on time, being reliable, and doing what’s right instead of what’s easy. So I became more than a tutor: a life coach, a mentor, and someone they can trust, like an older brother.
As someone who entered the American workforce during COVID, I understand why parents want their sons prepared to keep up, stand out, and compete with talent from around the world. Giving young men the guidance I never had is my life mission. It is personal to me.

- Hired straight out of college by the Department of Defense as a Mechanical Engineer, with zero internship experience
- 5 years of tutoring experience

Payment and commitment policy
When you purchase a package, your son commits to every session in it. Packages are non-refundable once purchased. If he does not show up for a scheduled session, that session is not refunded.
